Weekly Edit #6

What a great weekend we had! Perfectly hot for the pool, and saw lots of friends and family - some that we hadn’t seen since before last year’s COVID summer. It felt great to have some normalcy. I also launched the rest of the website, so if you haven’t already - please check it out and spread the word! I’ll be taking on a few clients each month with their organizational projects, and posting the results here or on Instagram. I’m SO excited to help families make their homes more organized, calm and beautiful! I TRULY love to organize and improve a space. :)

With that - check out the weekly edit:

Kids:

The girls have been loving the cicadas and playing outside! They especially love these squirt toys - we have to learn not to “boop” the frogs though…

Everything Target lately - this dress was too cute for summer parties!

Bug Catchers galore. I purchased these two for the girls’ — they truly will use these every day catching all kinds of bugs and examining them. Whatever works!

Books:

Make sure to pick up this cookbook from How Sweet Eats! I’ve been loving it.

Check it out!

She gives a lot of quick recipes at the beginning - I’ve tried the pickled red onions and the quick pico de gallo. Both were great!

Food Lately:

Pineapple, Avocado and Corn Salsa - this is a staple in the summer! It does get a little runny but it is so fresh and flavorful.

Sausage Stuffed Peppers - Slow Cooker - I’m on a slow cooker kick (see last post for why!), and this was great. Lots of leftovers and was very filling. I switched out the meat to use sausage, since that’s what we had a lot of. Recommend!

Westminster’s Farmers Market - for Maryland locals, be sure to check it out! Several farms with local produce, food trucks, sweets, flowers and more! Saturday mornings from 8a-noon. I’ve been loading up on veggies to use for salads during the week.

Pinned this Queso recipe from Cookie + Kate - can’t wait to try!

Also pinned this Carrot Cake Banana Bread - like I don’t have enough of these pinned?!

Organizing Tip of the Week:

Go vertical! We are temporarily living in a small space, and I purchased this organizer to make more of our counterspace. I also recommend using similar stands like this in your cabinets to make the most of the vertical space there, as well!
