Moving - The Best Time to Organize.

Ok, hear me out! It might be a no-brainer to some of us - but when could be a better time to organize, edit, and purge? Let me walk you through my thoughtful and systematic approach to packing and moving!

Ok, it might not be all flowers and roses, but we CAN make it a calm process!

Ok, it might not be all flowers and roses, but we CAN make it a calm process!

First: Focusing on one room at a time, empty the contents and go through like we would to edit the space. Anything expired? Broken? Empty? Worth donating? Let’s remove those from our contents to pack! Logistically, it may be helpful to be available from home or by text to most efficiently go through these items together.

Second: Pack it up! I will certainly take care of the actual packing of the boxes! I’ll label (by room) and number each box, with a corresponding sheet detailing the contents, being careful to use bubble wrap or paper for fragile contents.

Third: Location dependent, I can unpack in the new house as much or as little as you would like! Of course, you will need to know where everything is - so we will walk through the process before and after to tailor to your specifications.

A few notes: I am not available to physically move your items, but packing is such a big task that it will save you MUCH time and energy to offload the aforementioned items to an organizing expert. And please note, this process could take several days depending on the amount of items you plan to move! Lastly, please be prepared to obtain your own packing materials or factor that into the budget!

ALSO - I will also be happy to take any donated goods to a local Goodwill or charity! See my Sustainability page for more information.

My goal has, and always will be, to create a calm and peaceful home. So, let’s do it together from the beginning!

Let me know any questions or concerns below! Let’s get packing!
